Women's Bible Study
Cynthia Mays formed this study group about 5 years ago to assist her sisters in Christ
in becoming the mighty women of faith that God created them to be! The group meets on Monday evenings from 6:00-8:30pm at either one of the following venues:
1) the home of Cynthia and Bob Mays, 1817 Overdell Drive, West Ashley, or
2) The Parsonage in Charleston, 50 Hasell Street, Next door to St. Johannes Lutheran Church
The studies range from 5 to 10 weeks in length, are Biblically-based, and may include homework for the next session. Our time together begins with a brief time of fellowship and praise to prepare our hearts for God's Word. Then, we watch that week's DVD teaching, and finish up with group discussion and a brief time for sharing our concerns and praise reports!
Currently, the group is studying "Book of James" by Joyce Meyer, a 5-week study.
Our most recent studies have been "Redeemed" by Angela Thomas-Pharr, "Gideon" by Priscilla Shirer, and "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer.
